Star Jam: call for volunteers

Star Jam is a not-for-profit that changes the way Kiwis view disability by providing a space for disabled rangatahi to make friends, learn performance skills, and build confidence, all through the magic of dance and song!

Star Jam are seeking volunteers to help with workshops in Lower Hutt on Mondays or Tuesdays; as well as workshops in Porirua on Thursdays. Workshops run from 6.30pm-8pm during school term.

There’s no experience or musical ability required - just enthusiasm, an open mind and a love for working with young people! Volunteers are led by a music tutor in a team and help with set up, pack down, and other necessary tasks. Applicants must be 18 years or over and are provided training and support.
