Melanie and Stilly McFadden Melanie and Stilly have two daughters: Nanny ’14 attends the University of Georgia, and Bette will graduate this spring with the Class of 2016. Stilly owns and operates Toof American Digital Printing, the largest privately-owned printing company in Memphis. After receiving his bachelor’s degree in communications from University of Virginia, he completed his MBA in finance at the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt. Melanie attended St. Catherine College and owns a successful farm business, training horses and dogs. She is also one of the primary owners of GoatHill Honey and GoatHill Eggs. Michelle Nelson ’84 and Eric Miller Michelle is vice president of strategic and financial planning for FedEx Express. A graduate of Stanford University, she is active in the Memphis community through the outreach of Idlewild Presbyterian Church, as a member of the FedEx United Way Leadership Board, and as co-chair of the 2012 Leadership Roundtable for the Women’s Foundation for a Greater Memphis. Michelle’s husband, Eric, earned his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at Cornell University and his MBA at the University of Memphis. Eric is Director of Sales Planning for FedEx Services. Michelle has a daughter, Natalie Rodriguez-Nelson ’14, who is currently continuing her education at Princeton University, and a son, Matthew. Michelle serves as a member of the Hutchison Board of Trustees and on the Finance Committee. Susan L. Springfield ’82 Susan serves as an executive vice president and chief credit officer for First Tennessee Bank. She received her bachelor’s degree and master’s in business from the University of Memphis. Susan serves as a board member of the Le Bonheur Foundation and the University of Memphis Board of Visitors and Foundation Board of Trustees. She is a founding member of First Tennessee Women’s Initiative group and recipient of the Charles Q. Harris Award, given to a First Tennessee employee who demonstrates outstanding and dedicated leadership. As a member of the Hutchison Board of Trustees, Susan serves as treasurer and chairman of the Finance Committee.

Stephanie and Anthony Tancredi Stephanie is an active community volunteer, serving on numerous committees for charitable and educational institutions. She currently is a member of the PDS Board of Trustees. Anthony is the CEO of Allenberg Cotton Company. During the summer, he serves as an instructor at Tennessee Governor’s School for International Studies, and engages with the Hutchison Global Ambassadors each year. The Tancredis have three children: Samantha ’18, Daniel, a senior at MUS, and Andrew, a fourth-grader at PDS. Jenny Tibbs ’82, MD and Thomas Merchant, MD After Jenny graduated from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, she served as chief resident of Radiation Oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital, the primary teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School. She is currently medical director of Radiation Oncology at St. Francis Cancer Center. Thomas holds the Baddia J. Rashid Endowed Chair in Radiation Oncology and is chairman of the Radiation Oncology Discipline, including the Children’s Oncology group. Jenny is a former member of the Board of Trustees and has served on focus groups critical to the strategic direction and sustainability of the school. Jenny and Thomas are parents of the three Hutchison girls: Sophie ’17, Charlotte ’19, and Eleanor ’23. William (Billy) Weiss A successful entrepreneur, Billy Weiss owns the internationally known North Berkeley Imports, a full-service retailer and importer specializing in handselected bottles from boutique wineries in the historic wine regions of France and Italy. Billy has three children: Alex ’18, Hagen, a junior at Miss Porter’s School in Farmington, Connecticut, and Billy, a freshman at MUS. Billy currently serves as a founding member of the William Weiss Family Foundation.
