Sandy Tsang is the head of marketing at AVADO across Asia Pacific. After working in digital marketing for more than a decade, she’s truly found her calling to help marketers upskill in the field she’s extremely passionate about. Previously at American Express Canada, she paved the way for many digital channels and innovations. She was instrumental in the launch of the Gold Rewards Card in Canada, having brand and direct response digital advertising oversight. She then took on the UK market at the world’s first peer-to-peer lending company, Zopa, as the head of digital acquisition. In her tenure, she more than doubled the business in terms of money lent on the platform, and spearheaded crosschannel tracking and attribution between TV and direct response channels.

Priya Shahané has more than 22 years of experience across sales, operations and human resources. Soon after a master’s in business administration, she joined the hotel industry and after two years moved to the financial services industry where she has established her career over the past 20 years. She has been with AXA for nearly 13 years across multiple geographies and different roles in sales, operations and now five years in HR. In her current role at AXA Singapore as the chief human resources officer, she works closely with the CEOs of both the life business and the GI business functions. She is part of the executive committee of both businesses and manages talent acquisition, talent development, talent retention, business partnering and internal communications. She has worked across many diverse countries and cultures, managing large teams remotely across multiple locations. Leading and managing large-change initiatives and driving operational efficiencies has further strengthened her leadership skills.

Chris Welch joined industry forerunner CareerBuilder in 2007, both harnessing and building onto his extensive business network. He thrived in his role as national account executive, taking the spot of top quarterly sales performer 12 times. Beyond performing his sales role, he also helped to conceptualise, design and deliver novel products on which CareerBuilder prides itself on today. His contributions have set the stage for the company to trail blaze in the US’ software technologies sector. Today, he is the VP of TalentStream Technologies Singapore. This unparalleled technology allows stakeholders to reap the best outcomes in candidate attraction, engagement and tracking. It also optimises 20 years worth of search behaviour data to create a seamless experience for candidates. Developed in the US, this pre-hire solution created with both recruiter and job seeker in mind has made its way to Asia, with Welch taking the helm. Away from the office, he is more than a sales leader and innovator. He is an avid golf player and aficionado, but expresses his love for the sport by doing more than just playing it. He sat on the committee for The First Tee, a youth development organisation that empowers youth through the humble game of golf.
