Sunny Fong is a HR practitioner with more than 20 years of experience, primarily in the areas of international HR strategies, reward management and talent engagement. Currently at McDonald’s, he manages the reward function for the high growth and Asia foundational segments which cover European, Asia and Middle East markets. Before joining McDonald’s, he held managerial positions in the transportation, technology, chemicals and banking sectors. With a keen interest in HRM education, he has also held full-time and visiting appointments at local universities. He received his BBA and MBA degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and then completed the DBA programme at the HK Polytechnic University. He is currently a fellow member of the HKIHRM.
Liana Attard is a principal based in Mercer’s Singapore office and is the AMEA EH&B consulting leader. She has 15 years in the insurance, broking and consulting industry with nine years experience focused on international benefits, regional consulting, GBM/RBM and multinational pooling. She is responsible for leading the regional consulting team across Asia and for the provision of consulting services to multinationals across multiple markets, including benefit strategies, governance, plan design advice, health and wellness strategies, innovation, multinational pooling, captives and analytics. She has worked in a variety of roles in the insurance and superannuation industry in Australia since 1997. Before joining Mercer in 2006, she worked at Aon as a broker/ consultant, and before that for various life insurance offices in roles ranging from business development to product management. She holds a diploma in financial markets and economics and a diploma in financial services and financial advice.
Ceyda Kamhi Ozyel is a C&B leader with 15-plus years working in diverse geographies and cultures. She is passionate about developing and managing talent, designing and implementing new concepts to drive change, and improving individuals and business performance. She is leading compensation and benefits for Philip Morris International in the Asia region. Recently, she participated in executive programmes in human resources at the London Business School and School of Industrial and Labor Relations, Cornell University. She lives in Hong Kong with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys yoga and painting and loves spending time with her family.
Danny Yeung, a serial entrepreneur, serves as chief executive officer for Prenetics, a technology-driven life sciences company specialising in DNA precision medicine. Before Prenetics, he was a founding partner of SXE Ventures having led multiple investments in genetic testing companies. He also founded uBuyiBuy in 2010 which was acquired by Groupon. Prior to him leaving Groupon in early 2014, he served as CEO of Groupon East Asia. His entrepreneurial journey started at 25 when he franchised Hong Kong dessert chain Hui Lau Shan into the US. After exiting Hui Lau Shan, he successfully ventured into hospitality furniture and executed multi-million dollar projects with MGM City Centre. He received his BS in MIS from the University of San Francisco. His life motto is, “play hard, work harder”.
