Hand & Machine Stretch Film Solutions

Our solutions include ush core hand pallet wrap, extended core hand pallet wrap, mini rolls of wrap and machine pallet wrap.

We supply pre-stretch pallet wrap, custom printed stretch wrap, handy wrap mini stretch lm plus Hub Packaging’s own Polly Protect polythene pallet top covers and pallet hoods.

To complement these solutions, we supply customers with dispensers and wrapping machines built to the highest standards for maximum e ciency and protection.

Our Megastretch Plus lms are manufactured with a performance enhancing additive, designed to increase strength, reduce thickness and ultimately reduce the weight of the packaging used.

Additionally, Hub Packaging can o er E-Stretch pre-stretched lms. This lm has been stretched to increase the lm strength, improve load stability, reduce waste and make application e ortless.

Finally, we stock handy wrap mini rolls for boxes or bundling small items.

Hub Packaging ‘Polly Protect’

We produce our own “Polly Protect” range of polythene pallet top sheets and gusseted pallet hoods.

Supplied on rolls these sheets protect the top of your pallets from dirt and moisture during storage or transportation.

Hub Packaging’s covers and hoods are easily stored and dispensed using our PFD-1 trolley dispenser.

Shrink Films

Heat Shrink Packaging

Heat shrink wrap is a plastic lm wrapped around your product and heated with a heat shrink gun (such as Ripack®) or shrink machine. This causes the lm to shrink tightly around your item. Heat shrink packaging has several applications from protecting your items in transit, to slick point of sale packaging, to securing your irregular pallet loads.

Centre Folded PVC (Polyvinyl) Shrink Films

These are designed to protect and enhance the sales presentation of your goods such as CD’s, DVD’s, games and stationery items.

• PVC (polyvinyl) shrinks at approx 80°C and retracts by 50%.

• Available in multiple sizes ranging from 19 micron to 25 micron.

• Alternatively, we stock polyole n (POF) shrink lm which has a high puncture resistance because of its incredible strength. Polyole n (POF) shrink lms would be recommended for wrapping any odd-shaped products you may have.

3. Strapping

Strapping

The use of strapping around - either your own products or the packaging that’s being used to protect themis widely used in industrial and warehouse applications. Our variety of strapping products and related tools and accessories is an essential category for many customers.

Types of strapping we sell:

POLYPROPYLENE: the most popular choice of all the strapping material available. Straps and secures pallet, crates, or for bundling heavy items.

POLYESTER: one of the strongest forms of strapping in the market, for very heavy duty applications. Can be secured with hand tools or automated strapping machines.

WOVEN: as strong as steel but six times lighter. Features higher elongation and shock absorption properties.

BALE: bale strapping is the ideal solution when compacting bales or awkward loads. It is a strong safe material that is simply hand tied or used in a bailer or waste compactor.

Strapping Tools

CORDED: high strength corded strapping. High breaking strain and perfect solution for heavy duty applications of all shapes and sizes.

STEEL: rst choice strapping material for the building and construction Industry and ideally suited for sharp edged or protruding products. Applied by using our range of hand tools.

The process of applying the actual strapping around your items is achieved by using one of our dedicated strapping tools. Whether you prefer to use separate hand tension and sealing tools or combination tools to speed up the process, one of our colleagues can provide you with the advice you need to make the right decision.

Strapping Kits

For each strapping type, we supply a variety of tools and consumables including trolleys, buckles, seals, tensioners and sealers. If you’re new to strapping we even provide a plastic (polypropylene) budget starter kit which has everything that you need.

Polypropylene Strapping

Hub Packaging stocks the Tenso range of strong polypropylene strapping for semi-automatic strapping machines. Tenso is supplied on cardboard cores and in roll lengths of 3000m and 4000m in either blue or white.
