Kraft Paper Void Fill & Padding

Hub Packaging Bio lm Air Pillows

Hub Packaging bio lm is made from natural by-products of the potato processing industry – sustainable use of material that would otherwise go to waste.

In use, it performs equally as well as plastic air pillow but when you mix it into your compost heap at home it very quickly disintegrates into tiny particles and within six months, all that’s left of it is water, carbon dioxide and a few harmless minerals.

Air pillows are the modern-day replacement for bubble wrap and you get a lot more ll for the same amount of plastic in a product that typically takes up less space than a shoe box!

• Before use, the lm is contained in a small, compact roll that needs very little storage space and massively reduces the carbon footprint of transport when compared with bubble wrap.

• When in ated the lm creates a continuous, perforated roll of pillows used to ll gaps between contents, or quilting for lining cartons and layering.

• After use, it’s easily punctured and compacted for recycling – or in the case of our bio lm, for home composting.

Protega Paper Cushion Coiler

The Protega paper cushioning coiler is an optional attachment to the Protega paper machine which is programmed to produce paper coils at preset lengths. When you remove the paper cushion coil the machine automatically dispenses another coil.

This is for companies that have a high volume need for regular sized coils. This has been used as an alternative to corrugated cardboard inserts or moulded pulp trays.

Protega paper cushioning is also available in white as an attractive way to pack and protect your goods.

Packing Area Solutions
