Skylight is integrated into the design of the space.

It also provides a way of solving the acoustic problems in downtown.
Skylight runs the length of the bathing space and a full half of its width. Reinforce special zone in the space
Locating in downtown, indoor landscape is visually inviting guests to come in.
HYBRID DESIGNER HOUSE
A lot of artists or designers perfer to work in city downtowm . As the center of culture, financial and transportantion hub, Seattle has the heaviest traffice and population density going on every day. In this case, if your office is too far from your house, you are going to waste a lot of time on the way to work on traffic. I would like to design a dynamic live/work space for whatever artist or designer. The space brings together the home, studio and gallery. It is a hybrid between live, work and small scale event.

INDOOR LANDSCAPE
The project will help designers save their time, money and help them do their work efficiently. In other words, designers will have more energy on their work. Otherwise, they might got tired before they get to the studio. The building will be multiple levels inside and function as different spaces. It will contain a living space for daily life and relax; A studio for working; And a gallery that will be built under the ground. Designer will be able to start working right after leaving home and take place events in the gallery.

The double height huge open workshop space all the way deep through basement for designers to express their ideas. The guests who are entering the gallery are able to see how designer work. People can also come downstairs to join some artmaking when it open to public.

One classroom unit is assembled with multiple containers includes two classrooms, two relax area, and two terraces. Every container is equipped with solar system to provide power for the whole building.

One office container includes two offices and one relax area. One conference container includes two conference rooms for faculty meeting.
The furniture are customized to fit the space. It is easy to overlap more units to create multiple levels.

The office & bank is assembled with 3 office containers and 1 conference container.
The office containers function as teacher and banker office. Students will be able to come here to talk to their teachers and deal with financial problems.

ATM CUBE One ATM cube includes two ATM machines that can fit two students at once. The cube is small and portable. It can be placed at any spot in the campus. The ATM cube can help students withdraw cash at any time.

HAWAII GUEST HALE ( Residential Project)
This is a collection of house plans designed for the island lifestyle, tropical climate and beautiful natural surroundings of the Hawaiian Islands. I try to make the house not only an island style house but also having some modern design elements.
I like to have a public space with abundant natural light. When sit in the living room, 4 huge sliding windows can make that happen. I have my wall all white to set off the clean lines and little wood decoration in the living room . The floor and ceiling are made of similar wood in order to create Unity and balance. It create a comfortable space for you and your guests. If you are receiving a bunch of people, the living room might be too small. It is also nice to hang out in the terrace. There are enough seats. And also there is a six-people dining table for dinner. And this is an open space. The kitchen it is right with two bar chair. You can sit here to have meals in a no guest day.

This is the bedroom . The door is right next to the front door. When you go home and so tired. This is the fastest way to go to your bed. The hue of the bedroom is darker compared with the living room. It feels more relaxing in the space. The bed is facing to terrace. So it is gonna be amazing when you wake up in the morning.
The bathroom basically uses the similar wall with the bedroom. Try to create the unity between two spaces.
