Ed-Elsa Wins Boys 32-4A Again; Mercedes Edge Mission Veterans for Girls Title RGC Alex Garza Wins Shotput & Discus To Qualify for Regional
(Brownsville, Texas)- The Mercedes girls and Edcouch-Elsa boys won District 32-4A track & field titles Saturday at Brownsville Veterans Memorial hosted at Sams Stadium. The Lady Tigers finished second in the final race of the night to score 157 points, edging Mission Veterans with 156.33. In boys final results, Edcouch-Elsa kept its District 32-4A title for the second straight year with 108 points. Roma took third with 90 points, and Rio Grande City came in second with 106 points. The Yellowjacket’s Zach Grififth won the high jump event to led his team. Here are the final District 324A Track & Field Meet results.
