As part of series events to mark its 30th anniversary Hrvatska Zora ,held their 2nd annual “Ladies Night Out” fundraiser event. The event was one of the few fundraisers the group had since the lockdowns, and it took some time to raise funds. However, the group’s priority was to focus on their members irst. The fundraiser event was signiicant for Hrvatska Zora, as it allowed them to purchase t-shirts and new merchandise for their members. The event was attended by over eight women from the Croatian community, who were treated to champagne on arrival and were entertained by AKORD Daniel & Kata singing an amazing mix of Croatian music all through the night.
The ladies enjoyed a beautiful meza spread and later on at night, they had the famous Hrvatska Zora sliders. The highlight of the night was the song-alongs in a big circle, which is always a favourite among the Hrvatska Zora members.

The event also featured a rafle, with one big prize valued over $1200. The winners were Amanda Pinterić and Jennifer Šakić. Hrvatska Zora expressed its gratitude to the generous people and businesses that supported them, including strapthelabel, sekaandme, epsomcandle_room, ameos. com.au, whs_st.albans, and nicholasseol.

St Albans Saints SC, a soccer club, hosted the event, and the Grupa AKORD provided the entertainment. Hrvatska Zora thanked them for their support and for making the event a success.

The group also expressed its gratitude to its hardworking committee and team and thanked its members for their support. Hrvatska Zora’s next event will be the
Annual Children’s Zabava on May 20th, with over 600 people already booked to attend, and Major Minor playing. It is sure to be a huge festa and the start of a great 30th-anniversary celebration for Hrvatska Zora. The group also announced its huge celebration for the 30th Anniversary Gala, which will be on 9th September 2023, also featuring Major Minor. Hrvatska Zora encouraged everyone to save the date and not miss this special event.
Hrvatska Zora’s fundraiser event was a success, and the group is grateful for the support of its members and the wider Croatian community in Australia. Hrvatska Zora looks forward to celebrating its 30th anniversary with more events throughout the year and of course all those who attended are looking for to next years “Ladies Night Out”.

Last Saturday, April 29th, 2023, Croatian Club Bosna (St. Marys) organised its third ‘Cro n Shine’ event, which brings together not only exhibitors of classic cars, shiny limousines, and powerful engine cars but also numerous families, members, and friends of the club and the wider Croatian community.
Therefore, even the rainy weather, which sadly was unsuitable for some of those who intended to arrive with their beloved classic cars ‘that don’t like rain,’ did not stop the many visitors who still enjoyed this outdoor car show with numerous stands offering a diverse range of goods.

DJ Zarks and members of the band ‘Sto na sat’ were in charge for the good fun, music, dancing, and then a traditional dance that continued in the club hall.
“Although we did not have a large number of exhibitors due to the rain, we are very satisied and are happy to announce the next ‘Cro n Shine’ event planned for May 27th, 2023, and we thank everyone who supported this already traditional event in our club by their attendance.” - said the organisers, whom encouraged everyone to come next time with a lot of sunshine, so that the shiny cars can shine in full glory and pride of their owners.
