Travel back in time to the 1960s when renowned British photographer John Bulmer visited Hartlepool and captured the town during the ‘Big Freeze’.

Nature + Ecology is an exploration of nature, habitat, and the natural landscape through art. Featuring works by students from The Northern School of Art and curated alongside
from the Museum of Hartlepool collection.
The images he took are displayed alongside memories from the local community, artworks from our collection and photographs taken by BA (Hons) Photography students from the Northern School of Art.
