Responding Boldly to Needs During an Age of Fear Lahaina Baptist Continues Weekly Food Distribution EXCEEDS 6200 BOXES OF FOOD According to Jay Wright, pastor of Lahaina Baptist Church, "The community of West Maui has been especially hard hit economically by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic. According to official estimates, 52% of West Maui is out of work."* "Our church desires to be the hands and feet of Christ standing in the gap between hunger and hope for West Maui," Wright added.
