Howe City Sales Tax
Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar announced today last week he will send cities, counties, transit systems and special purpose taxing districts $1.01 billion in local sales tax allocations for June, 11.6 percent more than in June 2021.
These allocations are based on sales made in April by businesses that report tax monthly.

In Howe, the $44,173 figure is an in-

crease of 8.8 percent over last year during the same period. Overall, Howe is on pace to surpass 2021 by 10.41 percent overall.
