5th Grade Flag Football

The 5th grade flag football team took home the championship on Saturday in Celina. The team roster is Camden Riley, Carson Duree, Izak Montgomery, Lane Hance, Judah Burton, Hunter Thornhill, Ethan Lewis, Truitt Allison, Jesse Acevedo, Andy Morris. Coaches are Steve Hance, Michael Duree, Jason Montgomery, and Dustin Riley. Congratulations to them on a great season.

1st and 2nd Grade Tackle

The 1st and 2nd grade Bulldogs faced off against the Blue Ridge Tigers in the semi-finals of the playoffs on Saturday in Bells. The game was tied at the half, but then the Bulldogs hit the gas, winning 30-12. Jase Kane had three touchdowns and Luke Espitia and Paxton Murphy had touchdowns as well. The win puts the Bulldogs in the Super Bowl next Saturday in Blue Ridge at 12:30. Congrats to the team and coaches.

3rd and 4th Grade Tackle

The 3rd and 4th grade Bulldogs had a re-match against the S&S Rams on Saturday in Bells in the semi-finals of the playoffs. The game started out promising as Sean Douglas ran the opening kickoff back to put the Bulldogs up 6-0. From there on it was a dog fight as both teams scraped and battled for field position. The Bulldogs looked to be heading towards a lead, but an unfortunate penalty negated the score. The Rams found the endzone in the second quarter to tie the game 66. In the second half the Rams took a 12-6 lead. With three minutes remaining the Bulldogs were driving to the endzone when the Rams recovered a fumble to secure the win. It was great season for the 3rd and 4th grade Bulldogs and each player should be proud of their effort and commitment to the team. Coaches were Larry Windon, Sean Douglas, Darren Bender, Cye Carter and Kevin Crosson.

5th and 6th Grade Tackle

The 5th and 6th grade Bulldogs played the Blue Ridge Tigers in Howe on Saturday in the semifinals of the playoffs. Coach Steve Simmons was in attendance to support the boys he helped mold into great young men they are becoming. The Bulldogs fought hard but came up short as the lost 19-0 to end their season. It was a great season for the team, the future is bright for Howe football. Coaches were Heath Culp, Chris Kane, Sergio Garcia, and Shane Thomas.
