Haley All-Texomaland
Howe Bulldogs sophomore Austin Haley was named to the AllTexomaland basketball team compiled by the Herald Democrat. He was also just recently named to the All-Texomaland football team as a defensive back.
Haley averaged 8.6 points per game from the point guard position while shooting 45.8 percent from the field. He shot 79 percent from the free throw line and 45.7 percent from 3-point range. Haley is an excellent ball-handler who rebounds well and sees the floor with above average vision. He

Howe Fire Department worked vehicle fire
Mackey Road rebuild
Today, Grayson County Precinct 1 will begin rebuilding two sections of Mackey Road with the City of Dorchester. The road will be closed between FM 902 and John Fields Road from 8a m to 3 pm and reopened to traffic by the end of each workday.
At 1 pm Thursday The Howe Fire Department was dispatched to a car fire on the north bound side of Highway 75 just south of L.B. Kirby Ave. Howe and Van Alstyne put the fire out. There were no o injuries to the occupants.
