Consent agenda items are considered to be routine by the School Board and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate discussions on items unless a school board member so requests, at which time the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and will be considered in its normal sequence on the Agenda. If, during the course of the meeting, discussion of any item on the agenda should be held in a closed meeting, the board will conduct a closed meeting in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Government Code, Chapter 551, Subchapters D and E. Before any closed meeting is convened, the presiding officer will publicly identify the section or sections of the Act authorizing the closed meeting. All final votes, actions, or decisions will be taken in open meeting.

A third action item includes the swearing-in of former Mayor Jeff Stanley as a council member to replace the seat of Mayor Bill French who took the vacant seat of Stanley late in 2019. Stanley was named last month but was not officially sworn in.
