The Howe High School Cheerleaders traveled to Fort Worth on Thursday to compete at the UIL Spirit State Championships. While the ladies didn’t advance, it didn’t keep their coach from bragging about their performance.

“I am beyond proud of these girls,” said Coach Pam Kirby. “Their performances were everything we asked from them. I told them to carry themselves with dignity and pride and they did just that.
