Championship caliber teams don't only have just a few good players, but they also must possess a deep bench full of talent and unselfishness
The final piece of the championship caliber puzzle is to have someone who can mix and match the unique qualities, shake, stir, and blend them to the highest capacity and turn them loose The Lady Bulldogs are coached by Derek Lands who recently recorded his 400th win overall in coaching and most coming in Howe. Lands possesses all of the parts one would need for a deep run, and with the emergence of Copeland, the run could be longer than first anticipated.
Tuesday's game was slowmoving in the first period with Howe clinging to an 8-6 lead after the initial quarter. But a combination of great defense by Anderson and offensive play by Copeland, Howe soared to a 2610 lead at the half The surge of the second initially began with a Jenna Honore 3-pointer that gave Howe a 15-8 lead
In the second half, Leonard pulled within 11 points of Howe at the 3:41 mark in the third and again with :25 remaining in the period, but Honore finished with a free throw and a buzzer-beater to push the Howe lead to 35-21 to enter the fourth

Harvey was 11-for-17 on the night leading Howe at 64 percent from the field She also led Howe in points with 22 Copeland followed right behind her with 16 points and led with 13 rebounds
