The Lady Bulldogs lost one and won one this week The Howe varsity girls couldn't overcome a tough Whitewright team and lost 44-24 on Tuesday night Howe trailed by five at the half, but were punished in the third and fourth quarters Howe senior Kayla Anderson led the Lady Bulldogs with eight points with Peyton Streetman added seven
On Saturday, the Lady Bulldogs did the punishing completely controlled the Lady Farmers of Farmersville Seeking revenge for the Whitewright loss, the girls pulled out a 64-20 win and never allowed double digits in any of the two frames The Lady Bulldogs began the game with an 18-5 first quarter lead which grew to a 32-9 halftime advantage

Howe's Streetman totaled 17 points to lead the Lady Bulldogs while Kamryn Fulenchek added 13 in one of her best scoring performances of her high school basketball career
Other scorers were Landry Rhoten (8), Payton Griffin (5), Anderson (4), Ally Harvey (4), Emily Sanders (4), Cally Vick (4), Madisyn Hargrove (3), Jenna Honore (2)
Harvey led the girls with eight rebounds while Anderson was right behind her with seven

On Saturday, Howe was defeated, 51-46 by Farmersville The Farmers had a big first quarter that made it tough for the Dogs to overcome Trailing 20-4 after the first, Howe ended up trailing 3316 at the half The Dogs made things interesting in the third by closing the gap to 40-37, but Farmersville won the fourth quarter, 12-11 to finish out the win
Harvey finished with 26 points with Wall adding nine Other scorers were Campbell (5), Seibold (4), Masters (2), Ty Hawkins (2)
