“Happy is the man who delights in the law of the Lord and meditates on His law day and night He is like a tree planted near running water that yields its fruit in due season and whose leaves never fade,” Psalms 1:1, 2-3
God’s laws remain the same We can look around and see so many changes; everything seems to have a flow and nothing stands still Seasons change, people age, civilizations rise and fall The only truth that will never change is God He is who He says He is “God is not man, He cannot lie, nor is He human, He will not change His mind He will do everything He says He will do What He promises He will fulfill,” Numbers 23:19 No matter how uncertain your life may seem, you can trust in God’s constant and unconditional love.
“I am the LORD, and I do not change That is why you descendants of Jacob are not already destroyed,” Malachi 3:6 Time doesn’t affect God, God created time God is the same today as He was when He spoke life into existence in Genesis God has always been and will always remain God is perfect so there is no need to improve over time No matter how this imperfect world flips flops its beliefs; God remains the same If you base your belief from the world’s system you will always be changing. “As a result, we aren’t supposed to be infants any longer who can be tossed and blown around by every wind that comes from teaching with deceitful scheming and the tricks people play to deliberately mislead others,” Ephesians 4:14 Every Christian possess the “mind of Christ” If you want to have a mature mind you have to change your thinking to match God’s ways “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect,” Romans 12:2 Christians should look, act and believe different than non-Christians “Do not love the world or the things in the world If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in Him For all that is in the world - the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life - is not of the Father but is of the world And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever,” 1 John 2:15 God will never change His ways He will always remain the same
“Gen-er-a-tion gap: A generation gap or generational gap, is a difference of opinion between one generation and another regarding beliefs, politics, or values. In today’s usage, ‘generation gap’ often refers to a perceived gap between younger people and their parents and/or grandparents,” Webster’s Dictionary The length of guy’s hair or girl’s shorts may be one source of disagreement between generations God doesn’t care about fashion or trends He cares about our salvation, character, godly behavior and obedience to His ways He is a perfect Father and only agrees with what is perfect for us Politics do not change God but politics reflect the hearts of man generation after generation. It’s not a generation gap that makes “social issues” in politics divide parties... it’s a wicked heart’s desire to make sin lawful Our heart is our mind, our will and our emotions “Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever wants to be a friend to the world makes himself an enemy of God,” 1 John 2:15 Most of us will know exactly what the Lord is trying to tell us with this verse We are to stay in this world by treating our bodies like it’s the church for the Holy Spirit We have a mission and the goal of each Christian’s life should be to accomplish, to the best of their ability, the perfect will of God for their life. As Christians, we have to realize that we no longer belong to ourselves much less to the world! We have been bought by a price God is looking for people whose heart is fully His and are loyal and faithful to Him If we are faithful to God, He will show Himself strong towards us in all we do “For the eyes of the Lord run throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him,” 2 Chronicles 16:9 If you don’t have a Bible contact me at sfadebbie@yahoo com and I will provide you one

Sascha Brastoff (1917-1993), at various times in his life was a Hollywood costume designer, sculptor, dancer, jewelery designer, painter, and terra cotta and ceramic designer Soon after the US entry into WWII, he joined the Army Air Corps and was assigned first as a designer and then as a performer to the Air Force show, “Winged Victory,” in which he stopped the show with his impression of Carmen Miranda, an act he repeated in the film version His work in “Winged Victory” landed him a postwar comtract with 20th Century Fox, and he designed costumes, coincidentally, for Carmern Miranda In 1947, under the financial sponsorship of Winthrope B Rockefeller, Brastoff opened his own decorative ceramic factory in Los Angeles Brastoff left his successful studio in 1963 suffering from nervous exhaustion The company survived 10 more years under the leadership of its plant manager Brastoff produced “Sascha Holograms” for the Hummelwerk Company and continued making jewelry and sculptures until his death in 1993
