She stated that every tenant that lives on their property works in the city of Howe and three work at Quick Check, one of which has lived there for 19 years

Mayor Jeff Stanley asked with the difference was in the amount of the insurance rate which Curtis said, "About $500 a year We've polled people around there and they had no problem because it's the same thing for them I don't know what the issue might be to change it " asked Curtis if there were future plans on the property Curtis replied that they had plans to build two more apartments and a washateria on the north side and even inquire about purchasing the city lot west of 119 E Haning

"We've been told that sometime in the future when it builds up out here and we might have a hotel " said Curtis "Hotels charges taxes to people And if you start charging us taxes, it's not going to make our income any more because we're going to have to tack it on to the rent "

Lowery said that she always considers herself a fair person and tries to vote what the citizens want whether it is what she personally wants or not She said that she had three calls during the week from citizens that didn't want residential living in the commercial downtown district
