City's tax supported debt decreasing
Glenn Hegar, Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts released information from Texas Transparency that showed that the City of Howe's debt ratio has improved steadily since 2009 when the city passed a bond of $1,550,000. The numbers reflect authorized but unissued taxsupported debt as of August 31, 2014 The current tax supported debt listed showed Howe to be at $1,320,000.
