14U Bulldogs headed to state
The Howe 14U Bulldogs went undefeated during the district tournament last week coach Adam Riggs says his team will have a shot at the state title in Longview in two weeks.

Mason Riggs was awarded the Tournament MVP, while the Outstanding Pitcher award went to Bryce Krantz Kyler Anderson was named Outstanding Defensive Player
Players on the team are Mason Riggs, Bryce Krantz, Nathan Duffee, Parker Blount, Spencer Akins, Dyson Dillard, Garrett Johnson, Carson Grogan, Kyler Anderson, and Zane Hughes.
They are raising money to go to the tournament by doing various bake sales and raffles
They are raffling off a $500 gift certificate
One ticket purchase is $10 or six for $50 Fifteen tickets can be purchased for $100
Donations can be made to Adam Riggs or Howe Youth Baseball
Nelms will soon be attending Midwestern State University and plans to take the first year off from pageants. She has taken a year off from pageants before, but returned this year.
"I just want to get into the groove of college, but I do want to come back because my goal is to be Miss America " said Nelms

"When I go to programs, I always talk about him and how this has affected our family." said Nelms, who has volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House.
