“Houston’s Largest Home Tour” opens the doors to more than 100 model homes and hundreds of available homes all weekends in April. With thousands of ideas to inspire the home décor enthusiast, the tour includes 10 communities throughout the Houston area. The Johnson Development Corp. opens hundreds of doors this month for “Houston’s Largest Home Tour,” which also includes public events promising Texas-sized fun. Nearly 500 homes — including more than 100 models showcasing the latest decorator trends —are open for touring every weekend in April. The citywide tour happens in 10 masterplanned communities throughout the metropolitan area. Homes are open at 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays, and from noon to 5 p.m. on Sundays. Admission is free. Also planned during the month are unveilings of community art sculptures commemorating the 40th anniversary of The Johnson Development Corp. “This year marks an important milestone for The Johnson Development Corp., as we celebrate both our 40th anniversary and having more projects ranked among the nation’s 20 top-sell-

ing communities than any other developer,” says Doug Goff, chief operating officer for the company. Master-planned communities included in the tour are Riverstone, Sienna Plantation and Imperial in Fort Bend County, Woodforest and Harmony in South Montgomery County, Tuscan Lakes and Edgewater in the Bay Area, Fall Creek in northeast Houston and Cross Creek Ranch and Willow Creek Farms in west Houston. A host of events will be held in various communities throughout the month, from a Fest of Tails, a kite and canine event, to the Sugar Land Wine & Food Affair Sip & Stroll and Bartender Challenge.
