AUBREY R. TAYLOR: Tell me a little about your outlook for the 2022 Midterm Election cycle whereas Harris County is concerned?
HCRP CHAIR CINDY SIEGEL: “We most definitely have our work cut out for us. However, when you dig into the November 2020 election results locally, you see with the right candidate who works hard and has a good message we can still win races. But we need a strong local party that is there to support their efforts. That is what I'm focused on - building a strong team of precinct chairs and volunteers, working to recruit and cultivate good candidates, and expanding the base into communities that we haven't reached before. With what President Biden is doing at a national level and how it is impacting Houston and Texas as it relates to jobs and the economy - I think that will help us bring new voters into our party.
