My name is George Risner, and I've been in public service as the Justice of the Peace administering the million dollar Court budget, maintaining the Court’s facilities, and supervising Court staff for 35 years... The thing is, at the time of you reading this I have been making a change beyond the community for 40+ years, since the age of 19 as a Commissioner for the City of Galena Park. This is of importance, especially considering a Harris County Commissioner is responsible for roads, bridges, and drainage, and for budget policy, tax rates, contracts, approving budgeted purchases, salaries and benefits, and filling vacancies in certain offices.
So... What Is This New Voting Option (And How Can You Be A Part Of It To Serve Your Community?)
If you want a fair and equal system of justice, no matter a defendant’s racial, ethnic, economic, or educational status then your vote in this County Commissioner Precinct 2 is critical. Precinct 2 must devote sufficient resources to maintain the Precinct’s roadways, bridges and infrastructure,

to support both our local economy and that of the County. Precinct 2 must use its efforts to secure low-income housing, encourage business opportunities in the Precinct, provide adequate law enforcement, and enhance health care in the community.
