have the numbers on their side to approach local countywide elections in the way that they’re currently approaching them. And that being said, the local RepubliDEMOCRAT can Party is failing their canJUDGE PHILLIPS didates and not even giving them a shot at winning local countywide races if you ask me. Heck, without a major overhall of their party, I just don’t see Republicans ever being able to win a local countywide contest unless judicial races become non-partisan. Why? Well, without expanding their local base, the numbers are just not there. And as for the Democrats, they had better find some creative ways to deal with the way their African American candidates are being treated down-ballot. Why? Well, as we look forward to the March 2022 Democratic Primaries, the 2022 Democratic Primary voters are going to have some tough decisions to make in determining which judges should be allowed to stay on the job — or get fired. And truth be told, some of the judges who were elected back in the 2018 midterms aren’t very good, and should be fired in the March 2022 Democratic primary.
