OPENING SPREAD: A large, turn-of-thecentury dining room was turned into a roomy kitchen. The existing window in the old dining space was replaced with one that is counter height. THIS SPREAD: A door opening in the wall between the dining room and kitchen was expanded to 10' and its height raised to be consistent with other doorways in the home.
