Have you ever felt like the scum of the Earth? Even if just for a moment? Or like no one really "got" you so you had to bend and morph to b accepted? Or just felt paralyzed by the possibility of rejection if you showed the real you? Assuming (which I prefer to rarely do) that your intent is pure and you mean no harm to yourself or others, who would you be hurting by existing and taking up space? Or maybe a better question is who would you be hurting by not taking up more space and being seen? Yourself, for certain. And possibly people who would benefit from the light and unique flavor you would bring into the world. And as we've been already touching on, the planet needs all hands on deck to lift this load we've acquired. So, if you felt like you needed someone to give you permission to be your quirky, weird, creative, free self consider this your hall pass. To you, from you. I know what it feels like to battle abandonment issues, anxiety around rejection and wounds from when you WERE yourself. Let me tell you a secret I recently discovered you were ridiculed because you are special, unique, gifted and talented. Do not hide yourself away because you're not like everyone else. Different is the new normal.

Call on Mother Earth if you need to. All her babies look REAL different, yet there is beauty + love that runs through all expressions of the Divine. We need to learn how to coexist amongst difference and if you stood out like a sore thumb, consider yourself the person to get it done. If you ever need a pick me up, bookmark this page:

I value me. I trust my inner voice. I give up the need to know. I am the source of my safety. I am the source of my own power. I am the source of my own money. I am the source of my own time. I am the source of my own spaciousness. I am the sources of my own wellbeing, health, wealth and everything good. I do not look to my partners, or my parents, or our government, or anyone else to be the source and cause agent for anything. I bring the power back to me because if I am relying on someone else to do that, I am at the whim and mercy of these people. It is my responsibility to keep myself happy and to meet my needs. I see my self-esteem as something for me to protect. I cultivate, value and protect my self-esteem. I value myself. I do not attach my self-esteem to any conditions because it is a sacred treasure. I take action, and I expose myself to things I am afraid of, and conquer it, and I take actions that protect my self-esteem in service to my highest wellbeing and self-care. Wherever I go, I bring my treasure with me....and I look outside of myself for nothing. I am connected to the Source. I am the source. And so it is. ] Jade Rajbir Kaur
