VICTORY HEIGHTS

Where is this Victory Heights development everyone’s talking about? It’s located in Dubai Sports City, just out by Emirates Road. And what’s so special about it? It’s a beautiful gated community built around a 72 par golf course designed by Ernie Els (the Els Club - 04 425 1010), and dotted with water features and landscaped gardens. What sort of property do they have? There are both townhouses and villas, designed in European, Andalusian or Mediterranean styles and grouped into seven separate ‘villages’. What’s so good about the houses? Apart from the lovely design, there’s the

views over the golf course or lakes, the Poggenpohl kitchens, the techno-dreamy OPUS audivisual systems (with top quality speakers built in to the ceilings) and the amazing set of on-thedoorstep facilities. What sort of thing? Apart from the golf course, you’ll be able to enjoy jogging trails and winding, landscaped walking trails, a ‘Next Generation’ health club (equipped with tennis, squash and badminton courts), the Butch Harmon golf school and the David Lloyd tennis academy. And then there’s a community centre, playgrounds and parks for kids and local schools and nurseries. Plus, of course all the many and varied sporting events which will be going on at the stadia at

Dubai Sports City once they are fully up and running… So how many people have moved in to Victory Heights so far? At the end of July, the 100th set of keys out of just under a thousand properties was handed over, and another 150 are shortly to follow. The first villages to be occupied are the ‘Carmen’ and ‘Estella’ ones, with ‘Oliva’, ‘Novellia’ and ‘Esmeralda’ next in line .
