I
f proof were ever needed that the worlds of interiors and fashion are colliding then nip over to celebrity stylist Kelly Lundberg’s pad in Anantara Residences, Palm Jumeirah (page 32). She’s given her fully furnished hotel apartment a personal touch with Vera Wang china, cushions and artworks by fashion illustrators S. Brooker and Megan Hess, and transformed her store cupboard into a shoe closet crammed with the likes of Charlotte Olympia, Sophia Webster and Sam Edelman. As Kelly says, there’s nothing like a pop of colour to lift a space and we’ve got plenty of inspiration, from the dreamiest shades of blue (page 23) to bold pink and gold designs (page 15), and playful, printed cushions (page 64). In Al Barsha, we explore a family holiday home (page 34), which cleverly combines a streamlined design with Arabesque touches. We also head over to Wiltshire, England, to see how interior designer Claire Rendall has customised old and new furnishings to create an easy yet elegant look (page 40). If you’re looking for a new apartment, villa or townhouse to rent or buy, be sure to check out our guide to Jumeirah Village Circle (page 51), an increasingly popular neighbourhood.
