#3. DUSSELDORF Düsseldorf is the bustling Rhine metropolis in the heart of Europe with much to offer residents and visitors. The museums and the acclaimed Düsseldorf Arts Academy add to the city’s reputation as a hub of culture, and every four years the international art world turns its attention to Düsseldorf for the Quadriennale with its high-calibre exhibition programme.



#4. MIAMI Miami is one of the state’s – and the world’s – most popular vacation spots. Miami was named for the Mayaimis, a Native American tribe who lived in the area until the 17th or 18th century. The Mayaimis took their name from Lake Okeechobee, which was called Mayaimis or “big water”. Miami area offers multiple enticements for everyone: The trendy nightlife of South Beach, bejeweled by the eye candy of the Art Deco district. #5. PHUKET Phuket is an island paradise in southern Thailand only a short Challenge from Asian capital cities: Bangkok (1 hour), Singapore (1.5 hours) and Hong Kong (3.5 hours). Phuket is renowned for its miles of sandy white beaches, the azure waters of the Andaman Sea and warm Thai hospitality. The activity in Phuket City is nearly around the clock. In the early morning, stoic monks take to the streets on their daily alms rounds and the fresh market buzzes with restaurant owners buying ingredients for the day’s meals. Non-stop bustle characterises the daytime, and lasts well into the evening. Nights are reserved for enjoying good company, whether at a restaurant, a disco, a quiet bar, or a combination of all three. The nicest sandy beaches are all on the west coast, the most popular ones being of course Patong, Karon,Kata, Kamala and Bangtao, but some are still peaceful in the northern part: Naithon, Maikhao and Haad Sai Gaew. The East coast is covered by mangrove in the north and rocky in the south at the exception of few hidden beaches such as Laem Ka. The east coast offers beautiful view on the nearby islands. Thalang Road in the city center has applied to be a UNESCO heritage site with the many Sino Portuguese mansions and shophouses, including some jewels such as the ‘Baan Chinpracha House Museum’, ‘China Inn’, the Thai Hua Museum and the recently renovated ‘Blue Elephant Restaurant’. The second biggest town is Patong Beach.

That is where you have to move to see and listen first rate dancing and guitar playing. Also this country famous with its Balearic and Canary Islands which is the home of Palma de Mallorca, Ibıza and Tenerife.
