Hotel Kitzhof has some pretty stunning views over Kitzbühel. No better enjoyed from the Kitz Lounge or terrace in the summer with a refreshing drink. The beautiful gardens have a lovely little pond and waterfall and lots of little places to pull up a lounger and soak in the sun. The location here is perfect if you want to get out and about. The city park is on your doorstep, the centre is only a five-minute walk away, and the mountain lifts are about a ten-minute walk.

When you get back we recommended checking out the 700 square metres spa and wellness area where you can take a dip in the large indoor pool or relax in the sauna and steam rooms. Other highlights of the stylish and grandly designed Kitzhof include a bar and lounge, walk-in wine cellar and traditional and elegantly designed dining areas where you’ll have your meals. A daily breakfast buffet is included as standard and four course evening meals are offered to those who choose to prebook the half board option. The rooms in this hotel are bright and stylishly decorated with lots of wood and traditional influences. Most have a balcony and can sleep up to three adults.

This popular hotel is ideally located if you’re seeking an active holiday. It’s only a short stroll from the village centre and four-minutes’ walk from the Hahnenkamm gondola opening up the area for hiking and mountain biking. The many bars, restaurants and shops are all basically on your doorstep too. Inside, the hotel has a stylish and traditional atmosphere with a chilled out lounge and a feel-good spa with two different saunas, two steam baths and a relaxation area with mood lighting. A selection of beauty and massage treatments are available at an additional cost. There’s also a small terrace out the front which is a nice place to pull up a chair and watch the world go by - we’ve heard the sundaes are good, so why not treat yourself.
