Star Wars™ X-Wing Rocket Launch
Grades K-6 Tech Tac Toe If your idea of a super fun summer is to see an actual X-wing lift off and burst through the air, then this is the camp for you! In this Star Wars™-themed rocket camp we’ll explore “galaxies far, far away,” build a rocket and a crafty X-Wing that you can take home. You’ll also launch a rocket with a parachute and learn about rocket recovery and repair. Grades K-3 Stages Theatre Company Frilly glamour queen Fancy Nancy can’t wait to have fun with you! Always an independent girl who cares about her friends, Nancy (and your instructor) will guide kids as they build confidence, expand creativity, and learn beginning acting skills. Friends and family are invited to a portion of the final workshop day for a sharing of skills learned. We will focus on improving specific hockey skills such as shooting, passing, and puck handling — as well as exploring innovative and fun hockey training techniques. In addition, learn about proper team play. Finding Pixar
Grades 3-6 Stages Theatre Company Just in time for “Finding Dory,” we are going to take characters from our favorite Disney Pixar movies like Inside Out, The Good Dinosaur, Toy Story, and Monsters, Inc. and go on a heartfelt journey! What would happen if Sully and Joy took over Andy’s Playroom? Or, what if Nemo and Wall-E teamed up to take on The Incredibles? The opportunities are endless! Stages Teaching Artists will guide students as they create a tale using their beloved movies as the starting point. Geocaching
Grades 3-6 Camp Royal Staff Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasurehunting game. Join us for this super-fun camp where kids will team up to navigate to a specific set of coordinates on the Eisenhower campus and then attempt to find geocaches (containers) hidden at various locations. Flying Fish Swim Camp
Grades K-6 Hopkins-Minnetonka Park and Recreation Services Beat the heat and splash into the pool for swimming instruction and water fun in this class designed to promote learning in a safe, comfortable swimming environment. Increase water confidence through a mix of instructional swimming techniques, safety education, and free swim time. Classes are designed for all swimming abilities. Students’ swimming ability will be assessed for group placement in the first session. Our instructors are fully trained with the latest swimming and water-safety techniques, and will provide you with detailed information on next steps for your child’s swim progression at the end of camp.
