Mejia is Watermelon Day! hoping to win a U.S. congressional seat in California’s 34th District, which represents a large section of Los Angeles, covering Historic Filipino Town, Eagle Rock, Koreatown, and Downtown NEWS, UPDATES AND LA. He secured his spot in the November ballot against Jimmy Gomez, a Democrat candidate. FIL-AM ATHLETE LEADS UNIVERSITY TO NCAA NATIONAL VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS htttp://www.philippineembassy-usa.org/ Jordan Molina is a Filipino American that formerly played as an outside hitter, but with his 5’9 stature, he wasn’t sought for his attacking prowess in college-level volleyball. Therefore, he had to assume a defensive a role in the back row to able to contribute to the team. The transition definitely shocked Molina.
