Bever Park
Java Creek Cafe
Bever Park has to be the best park in Eastern Iowa. It is maintained and operated by the Cedar Rapids Parks & Recreation Department and is free to the public. This park has something for every age. A welcome addition to the Bever Park is Old MacDonald’s Farm, which was completed by Junior League of Cedar Rapids. It provides educational opportunities for children as well as the ability to see a wide variety of animals. Everyone should check out this fabulous park.
This is a dynamically cozy cafe! If you are looking for a place for breakfast or lunch that allows for great conversation, this place is it. If you want to just relax, read by the fireplace, this place is it. Or if you just want to do some work on your laptop, this place is it. The food is great and the atmosphere is perfect. Cedar Valley Nature Trail The Cedar Valley Nature Trail is for any outdoor enthusiast! The trail stretches almost 52 miles throughout Black Hawk, Buchanan, Benton and Linn counties. There are several conveniently located trail heads and the trail is mostly asphalt, but there are some stretches with crushed limestone. The trail is great for biking, running or walking!
