C E L E B R A T I N G MS. K
For the past 17 years, Ellen Kumm has been the face of Connelly School of the Holy Child. She greets every visitor, whether a student, parent, vendor, or client, with a warm smile and cheerful demeanor. Ms. K – as she is affectionately known – is always willing to help, whether that is helping direct visitors or assisting faculty and staff with projects big and small. She has been known to leave sweet notes in her co-workers mailboxes, put surprise gifts on desks, and lend support when someone is having a bad day. Ms. K is first in line to dress up for Spirit Week and festoon the front desk with colorful decorations for every holiday.
As much as Ms. K is loved by her co-workers, she is adored by Holy Child students. Ms. K has been a constant in all of their lives, always at her post to offer a band aid for a paper cut, lend occasional index cards, and provide encouraging words when a student is struggling. Her motherly nature, openness, and radiating kindness has made her a treasure in our community.
We wish her all the best as she takes on this next chapter of her life! Thank you for everything, Ms. K!
