Rob Sorrenti (born 26 June, 1980) is a British film director, screenwriter and producer. 'Hollow' is his second short film. In 2000, Sorrenti was the youngest student to graduate from the Ravensbourne School of Professional Broadcasting. His short film debut, Wednesday, was exec produced by Stephen Daldry; screened at 50 Film Festivals worldwide, winning Best Short Film, Ft Lauderdale Int'l Film Festival (2007); and 1st Jury Prize, Short Cuts Film Festival, Cologne (2007). In 2004, he founded Future Time Pictures and produced/directed The Real Billy Eliot Diaries; broadcast on ITV1 to 2 million viewers. His behind scenes work includes Pride & Prejudice, Bourne Ultimatum, Atonement, Green Zone and 47 Ronin. He was digital content director on hit BBC comedies Rev and Him and Her. He was a 2008 short-list nominee for Channel 4's Young Talent Award for Best Director. He is currently developing his first feature film for Elton John, David Furnish and Steve Hamilton Shaw's Rocket Pictures.
