During your design meeting you will need to make all necessary design and finish selections for your home. This will take anywhere from two to four hours so we ask that you plan for a half day meeting on your calendars. º All selections must be made and signed off on before we will begin construction. If any upgrades are chosen during your design meeting, our process is to create a change order for each individual upgrade. All approved change orders will need to be signed off on at the conclusion of your design meeting. º Please make sure to bring your checkbook as you may need to pay for certain upgrades at the conclusion of the design meeting. In an effort to make designing your home a smooth and exciting process, we wanted to make sure that you have all necessary information in advance! To help you get an idea of what design and finish options we offer, we have created this Design Guide for you. In the guide, you might recognize some selections that were previously made and written into your contract. If you have any questions regarding those, please make a note to ask our designer at your meeting. For all customizable options, you will find that there are “Standard” and “Premium” selections. Please note that anything that has the word “Premium” by it will indicate that the selection will be an upgrade and will have an additional cost associated with it. We hope that by looking at the Design Guide prior to coming in for your meeting, you will have an opportunity to explore both the standard and premium options for your home, make personal decisions regarding cost upgrades and plan for any questions or concerns you might want to discuss with our in-house designer.
