DINNER Silks Brasserie Located in the heart of Leura, Silks Brasserie is a fine dining restaurant that has been serving up delicious food since opening in 1994. There is some lovely food on the ala carte menu with either two or three course options. The Salad Caprese is a great way to start your dining experience, with the lamb backstrap and the Trunkey Creek pork tenderloin some of our favourite main meals. Finish off your meal with the cheese platter or the citrus cheesecake.
Leura Garage The Leura Garage combines casual dining with smooth tunes, and inspiring flavours. With a range of seasonal menus, you’ll always find something new to try. The chefs at Leura Garage try to source all of their produce from within 160km, ensuring it is fresh and local. Examples from the two tasting menus (vegetarian and non-vegetarian) includes Tasmanian Salmon Gravlax, crispy skinned Dubbo chicken and arancini. The Autumn menu saw diners eating saltbush lamb meatballs, calamari fritto, beef carpaccio, mixed mountain mushroom parpadelle and Nundle smoked trout pizza.
The Rooster Located in the Jamison Guest House, The Rooster brings a touch of French fine dining to the Blue Mountains. Enjoy the a la carte or degustation menu with views over the valley. Off the a la carte menu, try the Zucchini flowers which have been stuffed with two cheeses and a pesto vinaigrette or the warm goats cheese crouton for your entrée. The lamb cutlets and the duck confit make for a lovely main while the crème brulee is a great way to finish off your meal.
