The name Lola Tucker has a special meaning behind it. While in design school, her mom was diagnosed with ALS. Her mom, Laura, was her biggest inspiration and best friend. Becky’s kids were young when their grandmother was sick, and they could not say Grandma Laura, so they called her Grandma Lola, or Lola for short. Knowing her Mom’s time was limited, Becky wanted to honor her mom and their shared love of design by using her mom’s nickname Lola in her company.
