Day 1 Waitangi, Bay of Islands Leaving your hotel this morning, travel by coach across the Harbour Bridge and journey through the northern suburbs of Auckland with the beachside homes of the Hibiscus Coast to the east and the bush-covered Waitakere Ranges out to the west. Enjoy spectacular scenery of native forests and sub-tropical bush as you

make your way to Paihia in the Bay of Islands, a seaside town nestled on the foreshore of this National Maritime Park. On arrival, visit the historic Waitangi Treaty House.

Day 2 Air Safari to Cape Reinga (B)

You will be collected from your hotel this morning and transferred to the airport to join your flight to Cape Reinga. Fly over Northlands’ spectacular harbours and across some beautiful beaches such as Doubtless Bay and the famous Ninety Mile Beach. On arrival at the airfield, enjoy a 2½ hour tour around the top of New Zealand taking in the famous Cape Reinga Lighthouse where the Tasman Sea and Pacific Ocean meet, Tapotupotu Bay and also the Te Paki quicksand stream with its giant sand dunes. The return flight back to the Bay of Islands includes some of the most spectacular coastal scenery Northland has to offer including Great Exhibition Bay with its pure white silica sand and crystal clear waters visible only by air.

After a leisurely breakfast, join your dolphin cruise out to the Cape Brett Peninsula and the famous Hole in the Rock. Stop off at picturesque Urupukapuka Island and relax on the beach. On your return, disembark at the historic village of Russell with time to wander and soak in the atmosphere before returning back to Paihia later in the day by ferry.

Day 4 Scenic Flight to Auckland (B) Free time this morning to relax or enjoy some last minute sightseeing before your transfer to the airport to board your 40 minute scenic scheduled flight back to the City of Sails, Auckland.
