The brand is currently available in 80 countries, and was introduced to the premium beer market in South Africa by SAB in 2003.! Having witnessed the bad reception Budweiser received by South African beer drinkers each time it was launched here, I am surprised how well MGD has been accepted. (Even my Dad is a MGD drinker.)!
