We are a couple of Polish designers leading the team of the Hola Design. In our portfolio we have hundreds of delivered projects. We participate as jurors in industr y contests, sharing our knowledge with newspapers, tv and electronic publications. We are also a member of the prestigious international associations and were awarded in international competitions in the categor y of Interior Design. T h i s d u p l e x a p a r t m e n t i s p l a c e d i n Wa r s a w, Po l a n d . I t i s a n i n t e r i o r i n w h i c h t h e o w n e r s f e e l l i k e in a unique home from their dreams. In this interior the family is a unity and each unit is an individual. Once more the interior stands against standards and resists to transient trends, but at the same time i t p r e s e r v e s t h e t o p q u a l i t y o f f i n i s h i n g m a t e r i a l s a s w e l l a s f i n i s h i n g w o r k s . G o o d q u a l i t y, l u x u r i o u s materials, original and ver y exclusive, were ver y important both for the investors and the designers. In the apartment we can find spacious living room with the kitchen, cosy master bedroom, 4 bathrooms, two children rooms, guest room and the home office. A characteristic interior design element connecting upstairs to downstairs is a beautiful railing. Although that was a close shave. It was nearly replaced by something more typical. Most of the furniture and appliances were made t o o r d e r. M o s t o f t h e m w e r e d e s i g n e d b y H o l a D e s i g n o r b y H o l a D e s i g n u n d e r t h e S t y l h e n b r a n d . We also have here some widely known designer accents – Ghost Chair or Plastic Side Chair are the best e x a m p l e s. T h e i n t e r i o r r e m a i n s c o h e r e n t a n d c o n s i s t e n t, a n d a l t h o u g h i t i s m o d e r n w e m a n a g e d t o i n c l u d e s e v e r a l g l a m o u r e l e m e n t s i n a v e r y s u b t l e w a y.

The largely prevailing white, black accents and some natural wood, in the other words softened minimalism.The simple body of the building allowed the optimum utilisation of the area, and the external load-carr ying walls allowed to eliminate the redundant divisions. Also the windows have been e n l a r g e d t o t h e u t m o s t, u p t o 5 . 4 0 m w i d t h o w i n g t o w h i c h t h e i n t e r i o r m e l t s w i t h t h e e n v i r o n m e n t a n d nature. On the white glistening floor made of grès stoneware during the day the white clouds are reflected as they move across the sky and in the night the mysterious moon reflects. In the living room instead of the regular fireplace there has been position a practical and non-assuming cast iron stove incorporated in the system arranged in the form related with the medieval fireplaces. The wall around has been tiled with slate black stone. The graphic climate has been accentuated by the triptych hanging on the wall “ Woman on the Beach”. Two symmetrically placed graphite sofas mark the axis apart from the fireplace. The stairs made of concrete and laid with natural teakwood. Table and small table made of a special acacia wood which appears also in the furniture in the kitchen.

The apartment is located in the neighbourhood of one of the chief Warsaw parks and has the area of 200 m2. The owners top priority has been the space finished with diverse materials. The investors expected top quality natural materials which are at the same time not too popular for the interior arrangements. Thus the stone and wood have appeared as the facing applied, however not in the form of marble or travertine and dark weed instead of the exotic wood which is so popular nowadays. In the effect the apartment has been achieved where every wall has been designed thoroughly and finished with the exclusive materials. In the corridor on one side there are upholstered panels with copper elements. On the other side of the corridor there are laminated glass panels decorated with 3D graphics. The full-height door of the corridor finished in black varnish and provided with the night time L E D l i g h t i n g . I n t h e e n t r a n c e h a l l t h e r e i s p r o v i d e d t h r e e m e t r e s h i g h m i r r o r f r a m e m a d e o f c o p p e r. The hall walls have been covered with the bent varnished panels where the bent doors are also hidden. The floors are made of the natural basalt and stained oak. The kitchen is separated from the dining room by an isolated island-shaped low wall completely made of stone (including the drawers front side). The main wall in the living room is covered with large size concrete slabs. Bio-fireplace situated in the recess finished with stone has been surrounded with the upholstered panels. The bathrooms have been finished also with the application of the exclusive elements combining various stone kinds (limestone and basalt) and wood with the glass elements. Only two rooms intended for the children have been finished otherwise with the emphasis on the individual character of these spaces to reflect the children’s tastes.

I t ’ s d e d i c a t e d for a couple of businessmen who spend a few days in the week in Warsaw than are leaving f o r a w e e k e n d t o t h e i r h o m e o u t s i d e t h e c i t y. L e a v i n g i n W a r s a w t h e y w a n t e d t o h a v e a p l a c e i n w h i c h after a hard day of work they can relax and clear they mind. The apartment has main leaving room with dining area and open kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and one with sauna near the Master b e d r o o m , 3 w a l k i n c l o s e t s. T h e i n t e r i o r i s l u x u r i o u s a n d s p l e n d o u r. T h e r e w e r e u s e d o n l y h i g h q u a l i t y materials. On the floor you can find dark oak and sandstone. Walls were covered with flax textile, m a t g l a s s w i t h s t e e l g l a m o u r d Ê c o r. C o s i n e s s a n d e n c h a n t m e n t w a s o b t a i n e d b y a d d i n g c r y s t a l l a m p s, l o t s o f c u r t a i n s a n d o l d p i c t u r e s o f Wa r s a w. A l l e l e m e n t s l i k e t a b l e s, c a b i n e t s, c h e s t o f d r a w e r s, k i t c h e n furniture, etc were design by Hola Design and were custom made.

E x c l u s i v e l o c a t i o n , s u b l i m e t a s t e o f i t s o w n e r s a n d per fect realization done with great care for the most minute detail offered in a “ turn-key or move-in” option by HOLA DESIGN. Carefully selected furnishing elements, items tasteful both in their form, color scheme as well as texture complete the space maintained in a modern, slightly informal style with c a p a b l y i n t e r t w i n e d i n t o t h e a r r a n g e m e n t r e m i n i s c e n c e s o f t h e c u l t u r e o f t h e Fa r E a s t. M o s t o f t h e furnishing elements were created according to the studio’s individual designs specifically for this p r o j e c t. T h e l i v i n g r o o m i s d o m i n a t e d b y a m i r r o r w a l l w i t h a n e n g r a v e d g e o m e t r i c d e s i g n. T h i s w a l l not only constitutes a decorative element of the room but also corrects its proportions. The bedroom is a room most saturated with a climate of the land of cherr y blossom. A painting on the wall above the headboard is placed in a frame corresponding with the frame of the mirror in the living room. The portal element surrounding the bed’s headboard was individually designed by HOLA DESIGN and made by a carpentr y studio, with which the design firm has a long-standing working relationship.

The owners wanted their four walls equipped in minimalist decorations... The watchwords of the arrangement are simplicity and functionality The interior is dominated by white, softened here and there by subtle, appropriately selected accessories. Gentle accents appear almost in ever y room. The omnipresent white illuminates and optically enlarges the space, providing a uniform background for t h e g e n t l e a c c e n t s o f t h e a r r a n g e m e n t. Fo r m s a r e s i m p l e, a n d t h e c o l o u r c o h e r e n t a n d uncompromising. In line with the latest trends the architects went for an open space. The rooms designed include; a large living room with an open kitchen and dining area, and a modern bathroom. H e r e y o u w i l l f i n d t h e l o u n g e a r e a w i t h a s o f t c o u c h a n d T V, a b i g t a b l e w h e r e t h e f a m i l y c a n c o m f o r t a b l y e a t, a b i g l i b r a r y f u l l o f b o o k s a n d a p l a c e s p e c i a l l y d e s i g n e d r e a d i n g. O n o n e o f t h e walls a shelf full with books is displayed. The heart of the apartment is the big, grey couch. The distinctive point of the interior became the openwork furnishing of the fireplace, partially separating t h e h a l l w a y f r o m t h e l i v i n g r o o m w i t h a n u p h o l s t e r e d s e a t. O n t h e w a l l s a p p e a r c o n c r e t e a n d t h e l i v i n g r o o m i n d u s t r i a l l a m p s. T h e b a t h r o o m w i t h a b a t h a n d s h o w e r, t u r n e d i n t o a b a t h lounge maintained in a minimalist style. An unusual solution adopted in the bathroom was the use a small amount of ceramic tiles. The wall cladding is a specially designed graphic printed on glass, and wall plaster imitating concrete tiles, which do not allow moisture inside, but allow the walls to breathe. A shower without a traditional footbath optically enlarges the room and makes the floor of the bathroom on the same level. A free-standing bath due to its classic shape looks amazing and will never cease to be fashionable.

This modern apartment is situated in the exclusive apartment building in the prestigious location, in t h e v e r y c e n t r e o f Wa r s a w. T h e a p a r t m e n t h a s b e e n d e s i g n e d f o r t h e y o u n g c o u p l e a c t i v e i n b u s i n e s s e n t e r p r i s e . T h e p l a c e h a s b e e n c r e a t e d i n v i e w o f p r o v i d i n g r e s t a f t e r a h e c t i c w o r k i n g d a y. T h e l i v i n g room is connected with the open kitchen. The walls in the day part are finished with the lacquered glass panels and the outfit is based on the Stylhen make products. The bedroom wall in way of the b e d h e a d h a s b e e n f i n i s h e d w i t h h a n d - m a d e b r i c k t i l e s i n w h i t e c o l o u r. T h e h i g h s l i d i n g d o o r i n g r e y colour open onto the bedroom, wardrobe and bathroom. All the furniture and doors made according to the individual design prepared by Messrs HOLA Design. The bathroom walls and the free-standing wash-basin are also designed individually and made of black satin granite. The wall above the bathtub is decorated with the photograph laminated in glass. The apartment entire arrangement is ver y consistent and cohesive. The design cohesion is one of the chief rules guiding the designers and owners of the HOLA Design owing to which the interiors created obtain their unique climate. Â

Bold arrangement of the apartment in the ver y centre of Warsaw giving an amazing view on the Palace of Culture and Science – one of the most characteristic objects in Poland. The spacious living room w i t h t h e d i n i n g r o o m w h e r e t h e b r i g h t c o l o u r s s t a r t t o s h o w. T h e k i t c h e n i n t h e b u r n i n g b r i g h t r e d i s separated from the dining room only by means of the glass wall, In the kitchen there is provided the kitchen working table suspended in between two pillars, under the table the baking oven is suspended a s a s o l i d b o d y, a b o v e t h e t a b l e a c u b i s t i c h o o d . I n t h e d i n i n g r o o m t h e f o l d a b l e t a b l e f r o m S t y l h e n manufacture and the design classics: Egg armchairs and Panton chairs. In the day room the individually designed by HOLA Design – TV wall made of MDF boards composition in three dimensions. In the middle, between the two sofas in bold blue colour a characteristic coffee table of Stylhen make has been placed. In the middle of the apartment an isolated glazed bathroom facing the living room giving a view on the Palace of Culture. Crooked hanging walls surrounding the bathroom have been the idea of the owner and consisted the starting point for the design of the interior of this unique a p a r t m e n t. N e x t t o t h e b a t h r o o m o n e c a n r e s t o n t h e e a s y c h a i r D i a m o n d o f S t y l h e n m a ke. T h e bedroom has been separated from the day part by means of the double sliding door of HOLA design. T h e b e d r o o m c o m p l e t e l y d i f f e r s f r o m t h e r e s t o f t h e a p a r t m e n t. A c o s y a n d s p a c i o u s p e n t h o u s e o n t h e t r e n d y n e w h o u s i n g e s t a t e i n Wa r s a w. A l a r g e t e r r a c e f i n i s h e d with composite board. The colour of the terrace boards matches the colour of the wooden floor in the living room. The light-coloured, Scandinavian-inspired design prevails in the interior which has been c o m p l e m e n t e d w i t h t h e a r t w o r k. T h e o l d - f a s h i o n e d g r a n d f a t h e r c l o c k p l a c e d i n t h e d a y p a r t. T h e l i v i n g room connected with the dining room and kitchen to form one space which provides convenient conditions for family life. The kitchen peninsula table top finished with concrete mass. Flooring made of natural oakwood is proposed for the floors in the day part and rooms. Spacious bedroom with walk-through handy wardrobe and two separate lockable closets and en-suite bathroom form the sleeping part for the owners. Both bathrooms kept in the bright pure white colour scheme. In the bedroom-adjacent bathroom white has been blended with the raw concrete grey shade. The whole arrangement made warmer by means of stylised accessories and elements which provide the interior w i t h t h e i n d i v i d u a l c h a r a c t e r. Â

The penthouse is located on the 12th floor giving onto a beautiful Warsaw vista. The interior and terrace designed by HOLA Design. The comfortable and spacious living room with the open kitchen and large French window of sliding type onto the terrace have been designed so as to blend the interior and the outer surroundings. The apartment gives the impression of a well-toned, tranquil arrangement owing to the consistence and modesty of the materials applied. Oakwood boards provided as flooring i n t h e l i v i n g r o o m a n d s t u d y, w h e r e a s i n t h e b e d r o o m t h e r e i s a s o f t f l o o r i n g p l a c e d o n t h i c k f o a m material. Oakwood veneer appears on the walls, together with varnished MDF panels and concrete. The whole space is complemented with the everywhere prevailing dark satin curtains arranged softly on the floors. The bathroom window gives onto the Warsaw view as well. While resting in their own f r e e - s t a n d i n g b a t h t u b t h e o w n e r s c a n w a t c h t h e h u g e t e r r a c e a n d a d m i r e t h e v i e w f r o m i t. T h e bathroom is separated from the bedroom only by a glass wall. The bathroom can also be entered from t h e l i v i n g r o o m. A n d i f n e e d e d, w h e n e v e r t h e g u e s t s s t a y o v e r n i g h t, t h e b a t h r o o m c a n b e d i v i d e d i n t o t w o. MEN’S HAVEN Modern interior design in distinct male character
The premise of the project was to create a modern interior design that is not cold, of distinct male c h a r a c t e r, b u t a t t h e s a m e t i m e c o m f o r t a b l e a n d c o s y A l l e l e m e n t s o f t h e i n t e r i o r c o m b i n e d t o g i v e an elegant and coherent whole. The central theme of the interior decor became natural materials and earthy colours - grey and brown as well as bits and pieces in black. A distinct accent was using oak of two contrasting shades. To emphasize the character of the wood, the built-in furniture was made o f b r u s h e d s m o k e d o a k , w h e r e a s b l e a c h e d o a k w a s u s e d f o r t h e f l o o r. A f o c a l p o i n t o f t h e a p a r t m e n t became an open living area with three main functions. This is a well-thought-of solution combining an elegant living room, a modern dining room and an unusual kitchen. Bits and pieces have become significant: an original kitchen island propping its weight on a wooden beam as well as bossage on built-in furniture concealing cupboards and kitchen appliances. It has also become important t o a c c o m p l i s h a b a l a n c e b e t w e e n i n d i v i d u a l e l e m e n t s o f t h e i n t e r i o r. E v e r y l i t t l e d e t a i l h a s b e e n c a r e f u l l y p r e p a r e d , e v e n t h e s o f a i s d e s i g n e d a t i n d i v i d u a l o r d e r. Wa l l c l a d d i n g s f o r m a c o h e r e n t transition between the private spaces and living area. The modern bathroom looks particularly impressive. This room is dominated by bright colours that is complemented by black and wood. It is worth noticing the free-standing sinks that conceal the drawers. The bedroom is a large, comfortable bed against a soft upholstered wall. This room is also not lacking in unusual solutions. Beside cabinets also constitute an exit to the terrace, the spacious cupboard is practically invisible because veneered panels conceal the front of the built-in cupboard, and in order to enhance the whole effect a handle-free a handle-free system was applied. The interior of the study is a comfortable place to work, which consistently fits in style to the character of the designed space.

The opened living area surrounds one of the bathrooms, the walls of which were intentionally in a seemingly c a r e l e s s m a n n e r b u i l t o u t o f r a w, n o t p l a s t e r e d b r i c k p a i n t e d w h i t e. The free-standing kitchen island on wheels was made entirely out of black painted steel. The kitchen furniture painted in matte grey varnish attained an asymmetric division of the furniture’s front sur faces. The bedroom with strong color accent constitutes a single opened space together with a bathroom. The shower cabin is a centrally placed glass cube is simultaneously an entrance to a glass walled sauna. The latter has its own window overlooking the city ’s panorama. The wall at the head of the bead was constructed out of openwork concrete flagstones normally used to build driveways and parking lots. A wall in a shower cabin is made of the s a m e m a t e r i a l a n d c o n c e a l e d b e h i n d t h e g l a s s p a n e t o p r o t e c t i t a g a i n s t t h e a d v e r s e e f f e c t s o f w a t e r. T h e a p a r t m e n t i s n o t l a c k i n g c o l o r a c c e n t s. T h e b e d r o o m i s e n l i v e n e d b y i n t e n s e y e l l o w, w h i l e t h e bathroom and lavator y by the color blue. The living room is dominated by greys, shades of white and black. The entire space melds into a rare interior for individuals who do not shy away from bold, unconventional solutions.

Over 3 meters high, a 130 m2 total sur face area penthouse located in Warsaw was exclusively finished in mind for two adults as well as their potential guests. Its functionality was matched to the needs of i t s i n h a b i t a n t s. T h e f l o o r o f t h e b e d r o o m h a s b e e n c o v e r e d w i t h a s o f t, l i g h t c o l o r c a r p e t i n g, a n d together with a private walk-in closet as well as the master bathroom create a separate enclave. The living area is an open space combining functionality of the family room, dining room and kitchen. H i g h e s t q u a l i t y f i n i s h i n g m a t e r i a l s a n d f u r n i s h i n g e l e m e n t s w e r e u s e d i n t h e r e a l i z a t i o n o f t h e p r o j e c t. The penthouse is armed with a modern, intelligent computer lighting, window roller shutters, air conditioning, heating and monitoring management system. The bathrooms were finished with two contrasting color large marble tiles, and were also furnished with marble washbasins. The living area ’s hardwood oak flooring stained to match the color scheme of the furniture surfaces and the laminates t h e r e o f f i n i s h e d w i t h a N o r t h A m e r i c a n b l a c k w a l n u t v e n e e r. T h e k i t c h e n c a b i n e t r y w a s f i n i s h e d w i t h high gloss polish and partially with black and white colored glass panels. One wall in the family room was covered with architectural precast concrete panels while the television was installed on an individually designed wall TV mount with curtains ser ving as its background. The entire interior was supplemented with designer additions such as movable furniture, lighting fixtures as well as tasteful details in a form of elaborately wrought decorative elements on individually designed, nearly three meter high doors leading to individual rooms. For the needs of this interior design realization, close to two meters long linear wall sconce strip lighting fixture made of black gloss painted aluminum was installed, which decorated the living and hallway area. The project was completed in a “move-in” condition by HOLA DESIGN – from the project also encompassing most of the furniture to the completion of the project fully ready to be inhabited.

Many investors only look for tried and proven solutions and remaining in the dominating aesthetic t r e n d . O t h e r s “ s w i m u p s t r e a m ” s e e k i n g o r i g i n a l i t y, a n d i t i s f o r t h e l a t t e r i n v e s t o r s a n a p a r t m e n t p r o j e c t in Warsaw ’s exclusive district of Wilanowo was completed. Among unconventional solutions applied in the design process, which were applied in the presented apartment the following should be mentioned: a television furniture wall piece placed against a wall composed of architectural cement slabs with concealed in it cabinets with fronts covered by veneered MDF board (Medium Density Fiberboard), a wood pallet bed and finally an impressive size mobile steel construction on which a chandelier was hung. This last named construction enables for the chandelier to move from the dining to the living area. All the above said elements were designed and constructed as per the investor ’s p l a c e d c o m m i s s i o n f o r t h e r e a l i z a t i o n o f t h e p r o j e c t. D r a p e s w e r e a l s o h u n g i n a v e r y c h a r a c t e r i s t i c manner in the living room and bedroom. The unique style of the interior is emphasized also by strong c o l o r a c c e n t s r e p e a t e d i n s e v e r a l p o i n t s o f t h e a p a r t m e n t. T h e f l o o r o f t h e l i v i n g u n i t w a s f i n i s h e d w i t h hardwood oak floor as well as floor grès ceramic tiles. An mixed high gloss with matte oak varnish m i x e d h i g h g l o s s w e r e a p p l i e d o n t h e k i t c h e n v e n e e r. T h e b a t h r o o m s w e r e d e s i g n e d s o t h a t e a c h i s individually characteristic – one is a typical men’s bathroom using dark colors and elements, the second bathroom is a woman’s bathroom is bright and lightness in the design. Most of the ver y carefully selected graphic art prints decorating the entire apartment were created in a laminated glass technique.

An old house in the Pomeranian Region after many years of habitation and usage finally has seen a total expansion and renovation. The interior of the house was given a modern and elegant look using in the design a high quality natural materials. Most of the elements were executed per individual commission according to a design by HOLA DESIGN. The dominant structure of the ground floor is a black cube of glistening glass concealing the vestibule, guest lavator y as well as part of the kitchen construction. The same color scheme was used to finish the marble wall of the fireplace in the living room. A valuable North American black hickor y walnut covered floors and part of the furniture were melded with a warm shade of white. The entire space of the house has been made subordinate to a s i n g l e, c o h e s i v e d e s i g n t h o u g h t a n d m e l d e d b y s e l e c t e d m a t e r i a l s a n d a c o l o r i s t i c s e t. H i g h g l o s s finish was used on numerous sur faces according to the investor ’s wishes. The interiors of the bedrooms were designed in light color schemes. High bed headboards reach the ceilings. Lattice construction of the stairs attain additional lightness thanks to the application of concealed in the step edges LED lighting fixtures. The entire arrangement is completed by large shaded lamps. The light given off by them not only adds to the atmosphere of the interior but also adds an illusion of softness, which in turn creates an ambiance of coziness and elegance. The latter is emphasized by elements made of black marble located in the entrance and living room areas. Â

Wood elements carr y their atmosphere directly from the living area to the neighboring utilization rooms.

S p a c i o u s a p a r t m e n t i n a n i n t i m a t e i n v e s t m e n t l o c a t e d i n Wa r s a w ’ s Pr a g a d i s t r i c t. A f o u r- r o o m apartment for a four-member family designed and completed in a high standard with a „turn-key ” option by HOLA DESIGN studio and its contractor realization companies. The living room has a separate y e t i n t e g r a t e d k i t c h e n a r e a . T h e c e n t r a l p a r t o f t h e a p a r t m e n t i s d o m i n a t e d b y a b l a c k , s h i n y, separating slab of polished MDF concealing one of the two bathrooms, dining room furniture, a q u a r i u m a n d w i n e c o o l i n g u n i t. T h e c o n c e p t o f t h e a p a r t m e n t i s b a s e d o n a c o n t r a s t o f b l a c k w i t h various shades of grey and warm whites. The entire space is completed by furniture and the floor the color of North American hickor y walnut available both in a matte or polished finish. The TV wall is finished with slabs of raw travertine. In the entertainment center cabinet made entirely out of black granite a bio fireplace was incorporated – the light of the flames twinkle in the evenings reflected on the stone wall emphasizing its natural enchanting charm. The finish of the bathrooms was created out of wall cover of tinted glass. In one of the bathrooms is a large, two-person shower cabin with two shower fixtures. One of the walls in the hallway leading to the two rooms designated for children is a d o r n e d w i t h a n i m p r e s s i v e f a m i l y p h o t o g a l l e r y. T h e c h i l d r e n ’ s r o o m s h a v e s t r o n g a c c e n t s o f l a r g e f o r m a t w a l l g r a p h i c a r t. T h e m a s t e r b e d r o o m i s l o c a t e d i n t h e m o s t i n t i m a t e p a r t o f t h e a p a r t m e n t w i t h i t s o w n, s p a c i o u s w a l k- i n c l o s e t. T h e w a l l s o f t h e b e d r o o m a r e f i n i s h e d w i t h u p h o l s t e r e d p a n e l s improving the acoustics of the room and adding to it a touch of coziness. Most of the furniture were i n d i v i d u a l l y d e s i g n e d b y H O L A D E S I G N f o r t h e n e e d s o f t h e r e a l i z a t i o n o f t h e a b o v e p r o j e c t ’ s i n t e r i o r. The entire project was completed by contractors working with the HOLA DESIGN studio.
