I think this show can be best summarized by an article published by Jon Caramanica in The New Yorker, “In a commercial for this show, the narrator suggests that E! understands it has something absurd on its hands. ‘Every now and then, a TV show comes along that captures the voice of a generation. This is not that show.’ Which is, of course, untrue — this is exactly that show.” The show captures how millennials shape their social selves through technology and wealth, i.e. spending $200,000 on a bottle of Dom.
