School Communication Hofstra College ofof Liberal Arts and Sciences Hofstra College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is the academic heart of Hofstra University and the oldest school at Hofstra. We believe that the liberal arts — the humanities, natural sciences and social sciences — are the foundation for all higher education. Our main objective is to help students gain an understanding of how people have attempted throughout history to render the breadth of human experience intelligible. With the help of my professors, I re-created it here at Hofstra, and we participated in the New York City Model United Nations competition. I would like to focus on international relations, working to formulate foreign policies for elected officials, ideally at the U.S. Department of State.”
