Sanida Kikic married Brian Dunn on the island of Korcula, Croatia, on August 31, 2012, with the following Daisies in attendance and part of the ceremony: Selma Kikic ’98 (maid of honor), Zoya Bozhko (officiant), Eva Stroynowski Otte (reader), and Kate D’Ambrogi (reader). Shortly thereafter, Eva, Zoya, and Sanida traveled to the wine country in Healdsburg, California, for Kate D’Ambrogi’s wedding to Danny Leffel on September 22, 2012. The girls were delighted to have so many occasions to reunite and celebrate this year! Nicole Tong Kowalczyk married Brian John Kowalczyk on March 22, 2013. The ceremony was in A Woman’s Garden of the Dallas Arboretum and the reception followed at the Stoneleigh Hotel. Nicole writes, “While it was more than a little cold that day, we couldn’t have wished for a more wonderful night.” And congratulations to Denman Glober who married Skylar Netherland in April 2013. Monica Anderson married James Bragle on October 6, 2012, in Harwich Port, Massachusetts, which is on Cape Cod. “We had a lovely small

wedding attended by close friends and family including Bonnie Cody Varney ’00, Mary Jones Robert ’00, Katherine Solomon Lammers ’00, and Catarina Cejudo ’02.” Mary Jones and Mark Roberts were married on September 22, 2012, in Mary’s backyard in Dallas, with a whole bunch of Hockaday ladies in attendance. Mary writes: “We spent our honeymoon in Barbados (were very disappointed to not see Rihanna), then returned to Brooklyn where Mark and I are busy working on our new record label, Stars & Letters.” Congratulations to Leesie Pool who married Jeremy Drake on October 6, 2012 in Plano. Meg Weathers and Jennifer Thompson were bridesmaids. Leesie writes, “The circus-themed wedding was officiated by an Elvis-impersonating judge, who was a family friend. The groom’s bluegrass band, Parallel Play, entertained the reception guests, and I closed the night by eating fire in my handmade wedding gown. We honeymooned in Rome, Florence, and Venice, and ate gelato every single day!” Also a big congratulations to Elizabeth McGarr who married New York-based writer Matt McCue at the Brook Hollow Golf Club in Dallas on October 20, 2012. The beautiful ceremony was officiated by Judge Barbara Lynn, and Elizabeth’s bridesmaids included Hockadaisies Kathryn McGarr ’03,

Congrats to all of our new moms! Karen Sawyer Grabow and her husband Robby Grabow welcomed daughter Heidi Ruth Grabow on April 28, 2013, at 2:45 p.m., weighing 8 lbs. Heidi joins big sister Rachel Emma (2). Another congrats to Vanessa Gerber Stickles and her husband on the birth of their second daughter. Taylor Kate Stickles was born on March 1, 2013, weighing 9 lbs., 14 oz., and 21.5 inches long in Manassas, Virginia. Big sister Kara Paige Stickles (born in July 2011) loves her new little sister. A big congratulations to Erica Gioia Kuppin and her husband on the birth of their son Henry Warner Kuppin (Henry), who was born on January 10, 2013, weighing 7 lbs., 10 oz. And finally, congratulations to Mary Bonner Seay Bertolami and Jonathan Bertolami who welcomed Caleb James Bertolami on February 7, 2013.
