the North Texas High School Shorts Showcase. All three Hockaday films submitted were accepted. These films were screened during the 2016 Dallas International Film Festival: “Delivery!” by Lexie Chu ’16 and Whitney Middlekauff ’16; “Foxberry” by Sadie Lidji ’16; and “Just Like Me” by Destanye Brooks ’16.
Nine Hockaday athletes were named to the 2015 NFHCA / Keith Waldman – Optimal Performance Associates High School National Academic Squad, which recognizes high school seniors and juniors who have achieved a minimum cumulative, unweighted GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0 (or the equivalent) through the first quarter of the 2015–16 school year.
