Named Endowment Funds The Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ted Enloe III Endowed Financial Aid Fund Established in 1981 by Bess and Ted Enloe, parents of Rebecca Enloe Fletcher ’85 and Elizabeth Enloe Malakoff ’86, and grandparents of Cameron Malakoff, Class of 2015; Claire Fletcher, Class of 2016; Mercer Malakoff, Class of 2016; and Isabel Malakoff, Class of 2021; the Fund supports financial aid and honors the Enloe family’s affection for Hockaday. Ted Enloe served as Chair of the Hockaday Board of Trustees from 1984 to 1986.

The Melinda and Blainey Maguire Endowed Financial Aid Fund Established in 1989 by Cary M. Maguire, a Trustee of the School from 1975 to 1981, the Fund provides partial aid to students from middle income families and honors Mr. Maguire’s daughters, Melinda Maguire Down ’83 and Blainey Maguire Hess ’84.

The Horchow Family Financial Aid Fund Established in 1995 with a generous gift from the Horchow Family Charitable Trust, The Horchow Family Financial Aid Fund supports Hockaday’s financial aid program.

The Charlene C. and Tom F. Marsh Endowed Financial Aid Fund Established in 1990 by Mr. and Mrs. Marsh, parents of Estee Marsh Kellogg ’87 and C.C. Marsh ’00, the Fund supports student financial aid. Mrs. Marsh graduated from Hockaday in 1962 and is currently a Trustee, after previously serving from 1984 to 1990. Mr. Marsh was a Trustee of the School from 1990 to 1996.

The Edward E. Ford Foundation Endowed Financial Aid Fund Established in 1982 with a grant from the Edward E. Ford Foundation, the Fund supports financial aid and student loans in the Upper School.

The Charles Huff Memorial Endowed Financial Aid Fund The Fund was established in 1982 with a gift from Pinta Huff Harris ’20 in memory of her father, a prominent Texas attorney who represented Hockaday in its early years. Mr. Huff’s granddaughter, Mary Jane Harris, graduated from Hockaday in 1945.

The Dr. Ralph G. Greenlee, Jr. Endowed Financial Aid Fund Established in 1979 by Dr. Greenlee, this Fund provides support for the School’s financial aid program. Dr. Greenlee’s daughters are Geraldine Greenlee Hooks ’85 and Hellen Greenlee Pennell ’87.

The Candace Good Jacobson Endowed Financial Aid Fund Established in 1982 by Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Good to honor their daughter, Candace Good Jacobson ’63, the Fund provides support for Hockaday’s financial aid program.

The Haggar Foundation Endowed Financial Aid Fund This Fund was established in 1984 with a grant from the Foundation to provide financial aid for students whose families could not otherwise afford Hockaday.

The Lomas Financial Corporation Endowed Financial Aid Fund Established in 1982 with a grant from the Corporation, the Fund

The Betty Jo and Jess Hay Endowed Financial Aid Fund Established in 1982 by Mr. and Mrs. Hay, grandparents of Jessica Werner Epperson ’96 and Rachel Hay Spradley ’06, the Fund supports Hockaday’s financial aid program.

The Elizabeth B. Higginbotham Endowed Financial Aid Fund Established in 1986 by family and friends of Mrs. Higginbotham in honor of her service to Hockaday as Trustee, Board Chair and Life Trustee, the Fund provides support for Hockaday’s financial aid program.

The Aurelia McMurry Endowed Financial Aid Fund Established in 1989 with a gift from Mr. and Mrs. William C. Block, the Fund honors the memory of Miss Idanelle S. McMurry’s mother and supports financial aid.
