Costa Maya is one hour ahead than the ship time. Although your phone may automatically adjust to local time, please ensure you are following ship time. You can manually adjust your phone if needed.

Set Up Your Departure Details Final Notice

If you have not done so, please ensure you provide your departure information through the Royal Caribbean app by 7:00 am on day 6. After this time, we will not be able to accept any submissions.

Smoking Policy in Mexico

Beginning January 15, 2023, Mexico has prohibited smoking in all public places. This includes popular tourist hotspots such as beaches, hotels, and parks. Please be mindful of the law during your visit.

Sargassum Seaweed Advisory

Sargassum seaweed is a natural phenomenon that occurs every year. If you are planning a beach day in the Mexican Caribbean Coast, you may smell and see sargassum seaweed along the coast and floating in the water. Seaweed is not harmful but may cause light itching on sensitive skin. For inquiries, visit the Shore Excursions desk on deck 6.

Local Port Agriculture Regulations

Please note that local port regulations prohibit the addition or removal of agricultural items such as food, fruits, plants, flowers, sea shells, bulbs, and rocks to or from the ship.

Children’s Personal Flotation Devices (PFD)

For the safety and wellbeing of children, children’s swimming pool personal flotation devices are available free of charge at the pool deck areas. Personal flotation devices (PFDs) are for use onboard the Allure of the Seas and cannot be taken off the ship.
