Inked & Quilted Camisole Dress I once had the opportunity to tour The Costume Collection at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. What a treat to see row after row of dresses from the 18th century hanging together—the richness, color, and bold patterns with subtle details seemed so modern to me. This dress project pays homage to that beautiful collection. It uses a simple technique that works up quickly but has a strong impact. I’ve turned the seams to the right side to show the structure of the dress and highlight the important curves.
